With LJ dwindling and Tumblr hemorrhaging, I felt there was a need for a Rookie Blue community on Dreamwidth, for those of us who still love the show and want to engage with others about it. Hopefully more will join as they discover its existence!
The rules are simple:
1) Be nice. Don't insult other users or their favorite ships/characters. The fandom is fragmented/dead enough!
2) Each post should be about Rookie Blue in some way. Intro post of how you got into RB, link to a Rookie Blue-themed post you made on your own journal or elsewhere, discussion of episodes or cast, fic, fic recs, art, etc. (If posting fic, vids, art, more than 3 icons, or any super long chunk of text, a cut is recommended.) If you'd rather keep content on your own journal and simply link, feel free to do so; all we ask is that you don't lock it friends-only or private later, for the benefit of those who might come late and want to read.
3) Interact as often as you like, within reasonable limits. (In other words, don't spam with a dozen posts every day, but please do post and comment!)
Each member has the freedom to create and use tags. As tags on Dreamwidth can be "nested" on the tags page, please use that format for tags to help organize them. For example: ep: 1x07, ship: sam/andy, char: gail peck, type: fic recs, etc.
If the place seems dead, don't worry, post/comment anyway! We might just be lurking, waiting for fresh faces…
